Invitation to Support Student HR Research via a Survey

Good morning HR Research Collaborators! Part of my role as State Research Director for the HR Florida State Council is to help bridge the gap between practitioners and academics. One of the ways of doing this is to invite practitioners to participate in academic research and then share how the results impact practice through HR Florida platforms, e.g., conference presentations, publications, website, etc. It is an even greater win, when doing so supports students in the pursuit of their doctoral degrees.

Study Background

With that in mind, I am inviting you to participate in a research study on behalf of a team of doctoral students from the Florida Institute of Technology. The research team is currently focusing on quality of work life, performance, virtual team members, subgroup formation, and human/artificial intelligence teaming.

Survey Details

In order to collect the data needed for the research, they have developed a survey that will take approximately 20 minutes of your time to complete. Survey closes January 17, 2023.

If you are able to participate, please read each item carefully and complete the survey in full, considering personal experiences working as a member or leader.

Follow this link to the Survey: https://fit.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_bEeDDyPrrCmuaxg

Also, whether or not you are able to participate, please take a moment to forward this invitation to your HR colleagues.

Your support of this research endeavor is greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Dr. Shellie Halstead, Research Director, HR Florida

Dr. Abram Walton, Professor, Florida Institute of Technology

Eric Demirjian (Doctoral Candidate)

Kate Hill (Doctoral Candidate)

(This project has been approved by the Institutional Review Board at Florida Tech. All responses are confidential, and no IP addresses are collected by the survey tool. If you would like a copy of the final results, they would be happy to send them to you, even if you decide not to respond. Email the research team at [email protected] or [email protected] and they will send you the results later next year. Thank you for your assistance. It is greatly appreciated!)
