The HR Florida Membership Director has accountability for providing leadership to membership activities in the 28 local chapters, assuring that Chapter Membership Directors have access to the resources necessary to recruit and retain at-large SHRM members to chapters, local chapter members only to SHRM, and non-affiliated HR professionals to both organizations. As the membership director for the entire state, I work to coordinate and enhance the efforts of our SHRM-affiliated chapters so that we can provide the best possible resources to HR professionals through their memberships. We do this by sharing best practices, learning what our members want, and providing education and networking opportunities our members value.
